BBQ'D

BBQ'D by the house of the Massive Restaurants is back with it's MIP ( made in Punjab) menu. I fell in love with the food. I went here with a bunch of friends and tried the ala carte menu. Everything I tried is excellent but my favorites are palak patta Chaat, papdi chat, Lol tikki (leg of the lamb), malai broccoli, hara bhara kebab and legacy tandoori champ.

For the first time I enjoyed vegetarian food more than the non vegetarian.

If you are a Mutton lover then this is the place you to head towards. The details of the items tried are below mentioned.

Food:- (starters, main course and dessert)

1. Palak Patta Chaat - I have never had such a crispy palak patta Chaat. In spite  of the curd contained the Chaat was not soggy at all.

2. Legacy Tandoori Champ (mutton)- rich in aroma and has the perfect blend of spices. The mutton is so soft that it melts in the mouth.

3. Papdi Chaat- delicious and crispy

4. LOL Tikki - Lol is made of mutton and this is one of their signature dishes. Needless to say that this is the best tikki I ever had.

5. Bhatti Paneer - not only does this look gorgeous but tastes great. The paneer is extremely soft and creamy.

6. Hara Bhara Kebab - usually where ever I have tried this dish, it is fried. In BBQD the hara bhara kebab is grilled and there was no oil in it.

7. Tandoori Mushroom Tikka - tandoori mushroom Tikka was stuffed with paneer. It was little spicy but tasted great.

8. Malai Broccoli - I never knew broccoli can be this tasty

9. BBQ'D Bhatti chicken- very flavourful

10. Bharwan Tandoori Aloo- Aloo for a Bengali is always favorite. This dish looked amazing and tasted good.

11. Karachi Kadai Paneer - I found this very spicy 😄

12. BBQ'D Luxury butter Chicken - when they say luxury, they definitely mean it. This is by far the best. One can really feel the richness of butter.

13. BBQ'D Special Dal Makhani
14. Methi Laccha Paratha
15. Butter Naan
16. Gucchi Pulao - gucchi is dried mushrooms. The pulao is made of dried mushrooms stuffed with paneer. They used a specific variety of rice which is known as aeroplane basmati rice. Served with fried garlic raita. This is a must try item.

17. Nukkad Jalebi- most of the places serve rabdi jalebi but the rabdi is so sweet that one cannot have more. The rabdi here is not too sweet and jalebi is crispy.

Beverages:-

1. Hadwana Sikhanjeevi  (watermelon)

2. Barman’s Mocktail

3. Khatta Mitha

Apart from the ala carte menu, they have excellent buffet spreads also with a separate Chaat counter and live pasta counter.

I highly recommend everyone to try out this restaurant.

Sea Lions
